In order to achieve the perfect eye make-up look, you need to know what your eye shape is.
There are many different eye shapes: Here we look at three in particular;
Close set eyes:
Characteristics:
The distance between the eyes is less than the length of the eye.
Corrective techniques:
To make your eyes appear more evenly placed, apply a light shimmering colour to the inner part of the eye. Light colours will make the space in between your eyes appear greater. A darker matt shade on the outer part of your eyes will then elongate your eyes.
Wide set eyes:
Characteristics:
The distance between the eyes is greater than the length of the eye.
Corrective techniques:
To make your eyes appear closer together, apply a dark matt shade to the two inner corners of your eyes, this will lessen the appearance of space between the appearance of space between your lashes. A lighter shade of eyeshadow can then be put on the outer part of your eye.
Even set eyes:
Characteristics:
There is equal distance between the eyes and the length of the eye.
Corrective techniques:
You do not have to apply any corrective make-up for this eye shape
