I was born in Keady, Co Armagh and now living in Craughwell, Co. Galway. I began my career in 1991 studying Art and Design in Liverpool followed with a HND in Beauty Therapy and Business Management in Manchester.
Makeup Artistry was always my dream and in 1998, my 17 year journey began with MAC in Brown Thomas, Dublin. Whilst travelling, I also had the opportunity of working in the Pro Store for MAC in Sydney, Australia. MAC in Brown Thomas, Galway opened in 2004 and I was privileged to be manager from the launch until 2015.
During my time with MAC, not only did I develop my business and coaching skills, but I also enhanced my creative skills. I enjoyed designing looks for numerous fashion shows and shoots. I was highly involved in the Events and Body Painting Team for Ireland for many years. This amazing role introduced me to the world of celebrities, fashion, media and other exciting opportunities, such as London Fashion Week, Sydney Fashion Week, IFTAs, MTV Awards, Meteor Awards and many fashion shows and shoots.
I have worked with some of the most talented and inspirational Makeup Artists in the world like Terry Barber, Lesley Keane, Val Garland, Andrew Gallimore and many others.
